¼ cup light brown sugar
½ cup granulated white sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Glaze:
½ cup powdered sugar
4 tsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- FIRST STEP:
- Preheat the oven to 350*

- SECOND STEP:
- Open the tubes of crescent roll dough, Do not unroll them
- In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, lemon juice, vanilla and the granulated sugar until it is thoroughly combined

- FOURTH STEP:
- With each slice, use your fingers to build a slight upraised edge on the dough. This will hold the filling in
- In a small bowl combine the melted butter with the light brown sugar and mix
- FIFTH STEP:
- Use a pastry brush to brush the butter on each of the slices
- Spoon even amounts of the filling onto each slice
- SIXTH STEP:
- Bake for 15 to 17 minutes, or until slightly golden brown
- In another small bowl combine the confectioners sugar with the vanilla and the milk and stir to combine.
- SEVENTH STEP:
- Drizzle the glaze over each cheese danish
- The danish can then be topped with your choice of fruit or eaten plain.
- Enjoy!
